This month, I'm going to show you an old cassette I recently found at a Goodwill in Waterbury, CT.
This cassette was sitting on a shelf of old tapes without a case or cover with it. Judging from the label, it probably came included with a tape answering machine.
On the tape, you will hear people calling a woman I presume to be named Dorothy. There was a lot of blank space on this 60 min cassette, so I cut the audio down to only the recorded parts.
Take a listen to the recording I digitized, and return to a time when you were able to not always around to answer the phone.
